SENGAN is a single cultivar matcha that boasts a refreshing and aromatic taste, carefully curated by our Japanese tea master to minimise astringency with each sip. it has more earthy notes, subtle umami and sweet finish
- it is best consumed as usucha, koicha or in non-baked desserts where it maintains its flavour and aroma
- it is not recommended to make with lattes as the flavour profile and delicate notes of this matcha is diminished when diluted with milk or alternative milk, we recommend KORAI instead
organic certified by japanese agricultural standards (JAS) which means no pesticides, synthetic fertilisers or GMO
how to care: ensure to reseal pouch after each use and store in the fridge, otherwise a cool dry place

Very delicious. Nice and easy to whisk. Good aromatic not too bitter. Smooth texture and easy to drink. Enjoyful flavour to go well with oat milk or regular milk. Don't want milk? Perfect with just hot water. 👌🏻
After trying both the Korai and Sengan matcha, I found the Sengan to be more flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness that I preferred. Like the Korai, the Sengan was incredibly smooth, making it an enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be repurchasing once I run out! (Bonus: It kept me energized throughout the entire day!)
